Posted by Keith Fry on 29 December 2009 Thanks Dear Mr Cooper On Monday the 19th of October my wife and i were on our way back home to Edinburgh after spending the weekend at the Glenfinnen House Hotel for our wedding anniversary. At around 10.20am we were involved in an car crash about 3 miles south of Fort William, after spending a few hours at the scene the policewoman dealing with us gave us a lift back to Glencoe so we could wait for my father to come from Perth to collect us. Her name was cathy and she was extremely nice to us, she said that your shop would be a really nice place to wait. When we came in my wife asked at the counter if we could leave our luggage at the side while we waited and told the lady that we were involved in a car accident. The lady was so kind and gave us tea but would not accept any money as she could see we were still in shock from what had happened. Then another lady asked if we would like more tea and some soup which we gratefully accepted. When we left i went to pay and again they would not accept any money from us. I would just like to say a big thank you for the kind generosity, its not often nowadays that people are so kind when people need it most. My wife and i will be back to Glenfinnen next year and we will definitly make a point of stopping in at your shop as its such a beautiful place and thank everyone in person. Again thank you so much.
